Steve Ballmer
Most people in Silicon Valley hate Microsoft. But you have to admire Steve Ballmer for his sheer tenacity and will to win. A formidable competitor. I've observed that he often repeats things three to five times. But earlier this year, when asked about Google (at a meeting with VCs in Silicon Valley) he repeated the following statement about 30 times (I lost count) - "we'll keep coming, and coming, and coming, and coming and coming and coming, and coming..." As he was saying this, he started pounding his fists, harder and harder, over and over again, faster and faster. I'm sure he'll keep coming. MSFT has their challenges, but he's one guy who will never, ever give up.
